Just wondering which is better Kindle Arrow vrs Apply Poision in PvE?

I will be using sabway for Hero Setup. In general in NM which is better? & in hard mode which works better? & doese Epidemic play an important part if using Apply Poison?

I`d either use a Barrage Ranger build, or BHA with use of Volley. & was debating the use of R/Me for Epidemic, or R/War for Frenzy.

Build would be:
12+1+1 Marksmanship
!2+1 Expertise
7+1 Wilderness Survival

Skill Bar would be:
BHA or Barrage
Distracting Shot
Volley or Savage Shot
Sloth Hunter Shot
Kindle Arrow or Apply Poison
Favorable Winds
Rapid Fire
Epidemic or Frenzy

Volley and barrage remove preps. Otherwise Apply Poison.

Rapid Fire is a Prep to, Can you only have 1 prep at a time? Should I loose Barrage, & Volley in Favor of Preps?

Ignite arrow, & incendiary arrow better than the other setups?

Do to splinter weapon from Hero I was using Vampire String, Should I change to Fire String & go with Ignite arrow, incendiary arrow, & conjure flame?

If it's between Kindle and Apply, go with Apply. Unless your in a non-fleshy area.

in pve go with apply, kindle is nice but not better than apply and incendiary+ignite works pretty well in pve

incendiary + ignite looks awesome with 3 ranger heroes firing at the same target.

Don't forget to bring Ebon Battle Standard of Honor with your Ignites (or Kindles), it affects every additional armor-effected damage package.

Kindle's damage does not ignore armor, so except for some specifc mobs it's apparently high bonus damage is normally reduced to where it's about as effective as Read the Wind is, at best. It does change the bows damage type to fire, so you can use it to trigger Conjure Flame without a fiery bowstring.

Faster arrows don't always mean faster kills. As everyone knows, you can't use RtW with Barrage/Volley.
To OP: You can't do 12 marks, 12 exp, and 7 ws. Also, Rapid Fire and your other prep can't be used at the same time. Just drop Rapid for Lightning Reflexes so you can reap the IAS while having a prep. If you really want a prep, take Apply with BHA. If using Incendiary, Ignite works fine.

in PVE go kindle or ingite arrows, your mm necro should be spreading poison very nice thru poison explosion.

In pve i usually dont bring a prep coz of volley, but when i do, its either ignite, rtw, kindle, or rapid fire.

If you use barrage go with a Conjure Flames/Frost/Lightning...mass dmg. Don't use either of the preparations they get removed...huge pain since barrage HAS to be spammed.

This is what you're using, right?
If so, then I would think that the enemies are going to be poisoned already from [Death Nova], so you're probably not going to get much use out of Apply. I say stick with [Barrage], or use something like [Expert's Dexterity] with [Volley] so you can trigger [Barbs] and [Mark of Pain] more often.
